It's been a while.... six years to be exact...
..since i've put pen to paper, or fingers to keys for the sake of self expression.
For 6 years, nothing but silence.
Sometimes, when life takes out its artillary and tries to take you down, it's easier to retreat.
Then I see others...ones like me....who share common threads.
They show bravery by standing tall, coming out of the shadows to share their stories....
Stories that often close the gap between hearts.
Tales that reveal that 'alone' is an option because we have more in common with one another than we differ.....
And suddenly I remember that I have a story too.
